Our Story
Established in 2012, TopGarden was founded to restore nature to the urban landscape with unique roof garden solutions. From a handful of excited gardeners and landscape architects, we have become the largest provider of sustainable rooftop installations in the USA.
Michael Green (our founder) saw the opportunity to utilize so much underutilized rooftops to be a valuable green space. Our team of designers came from landscape architecture and environmental science backgrounds, which allowed us to develop specific techniques for gardening in these difficult environments.
We have been reimagining rooftops and turning them from sterile shingles into thriving green roofs for over a decade, helping property owners cut down on energy bills, enhancing property values, and building beautiful green getaways out of urban deserts.
